Templates: Boosting document efficiency by 25%
Templates
💡
We introduced the Templates feature to speed up document creation and reduce errors. Result: document creation time decreased, and bulk filling increased by 25%.
We noticed a common challenge that our users were facing: repeatedly filling out similar documents manually was time-consuming, inefficient, and prone to errors.
To address this problem, we introduced the Templates feature. Our goal was to provide a solution that would allow users to create reusable document templates, streamline bulk-filling processes, and save time by reducing repetitive tasks.
Result
Reusable Templates
+14%
Enabled users to create and reuse document templates, reducing repetitive setup and improving consistency across projects.
Bulk filling efficiency
+25%
Accelerated document creation with bulk filling, minimizing manual input and lowering error rates.
User Interviews
One of our primary objectives in analyzing competitors and other SaaS products was to gain insights into industry best practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and evaluate how our solution compares to the broader landscape.
By studying the strengths and weaknesses of competitor solutions, we aimed to refine our approach, enhance the user experience, and ensure that our Templates feature not only meets but exceeds user expectations.
Through user interviews and an in-depth review of customer support inquiries, we gained valuable insights into user workflows and pain points. This combined approach allowed us to fine-tune the Templates feature to better meet users' specific needs.
Creating documents from a template
This screen allows users to create and manage templates directly from a single document. They can easily share or send documents to others for data collection, ensuring collaboration and consistency across the workflow.
Data collection
This screen focuses on gathering and organizing data from completed templates. All submitted information is collected and structured here, with options to define which data points and fields should be tracked.
Viewing Collected Data
In addition to the Filled data table, users can open a specific document created from a template to see exactly what was entered there. This allows teams to verify input accuracy, monitor submission progress, and quickly identify any missing or inconsistent data.
By visualizing the collected results, users gain a better understanding of how their templates perform in real workflows — which fields are used most often, where errors occur, and how to optimize future template structures.
💡
Outcome: Improved visibility and data reliability across teams, reduced time spent on manual review, and more confident decision-making based on structured, verified information.
